An exciting development of the unique times we're living in is that we've been able to stream our weekend services online for those are not able to join us in-person! Along with new technology comes the opportunity to expand our Grace Chapel Staff to better serve our church family!

Worship Arts Media Production Leader

The Worship Arts Media Production Leader invests in managing sound, video, and technology efforts in person and online to engage attendees in meaningful worship opportunities.

Relationships & Leadership

1. Work with staff and volunteer musicians, vocalists, and sound/visual team

2. Maintain regular contact with one another by email, phone, text, or face-to-face meetings

3. Partner with Worship Arts Director and Worship Arts Team in working to ensure the highest quality possible through meaningful worship experiences

Programs

1. Assess, plan and manage live stream capabilities and equipment church-wide

2. Assess, plan and manage video equipment and projection screens church-wide

3. Assess and manage sound equipment boards, monitors, mics, etc. church-wide

4. Perform sound training for volunteers and staff

5. Perform video and live stream training for volunteers and staff

6. Help move GCCC Worship Arts forward with new technology and equipment to stay current

Additional Responsibilities

1. Perform sound and video recording options and training for various events

2. Develop a way to record multiple tracks during a service for better mixing on audio recordings

3. Work with Youth Worship Arts team as requested and needed

4. Participate in creative programming meetings and discussion for future services and events

5. Participate in Worship Arts meetings as scheduled

Requirements

● 3+ years experience in a large church environment in a similar role preferred

● 4-year degree or related experience in sound and video engineering and production preferred

● Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with others, communicating concisely with kindness and gratitude for building good rapport

● Ability to handle multiple projects effectively

● Strong knowledge and experience of ProPresenter or similar program preferred

● Strong knowledge of VMix or similar program preferred

● Strong knowledge of Restream or similar program preferred

● 3+ years of experience in running both digital and analog sound boards preferred

● Experience with digital recording and editing preferred

● Experience with camera equipment, NDI, and live production efforts preferred

● Flexibility based on needs of ministry – Weddings, Funerals, special events, etc.

● Willingness and ability to comply with and support all policies, procedures, standards and statements outlined in the Employee Handbook and other governing documents created by GCCC

● A growing committed follower of Jesus Christ. (1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9)

Standards: Employee shall conduct his/her duties with courtesy and professionalism. Tardiness and absences shall be coordinated with the Executive Leader. Employee shall adhere to any grooming standards, dress code or code of conduct established by Grace Chapel Community Church.
