Grace Chapel
Small Groups resuming at Grace!
By Pastor Aaron Lego
Hey friends,
We know that everyone is eager to get back to “normal”, including coming back to church. But what does coming back to church in person look like at Grace Chapel? This is a great question that we are discussing and planning.

What we DO know is that we want Grace Chapel to be a place to worship God together, a place to learn about God in our life stages from adults to youth to children, a place that is safe for everyone to be together, and a place where we can encourage one another to be fully devoted followers of Christ— together.
Note the keyword above: together. We continue to watch all of the federal, state, and county mandates and guidelines. We want to be able to hold your babies in the nursery and for children to worship with GraceKids. We want to serve fresh coffee and donuts in the Café. We want to worship together without seating assignments and limitations on access.
So, while we wait patiently and work within the safety rules that have been outlined for us, here is what we are offering starting June (weekend services still online):
In person weekly offerings at Grace Chapel :

Tuesdays, beginning June 2: Couples Study – Andy Stanley’s “What Happy Couples Know” led by Pastor Chris and Holly Bobby at 6:30 PM. (Tues., June 2 will be via Zoom Meetings, with remainder of meetings at Grace Chapel).

Wednesdays, beginning June 3: Midweek teaching– “God’s Grace: A Look Through the Lens of Jonah” led by Pastor Aaron Lego at 6:30 PM and Ladies Discussion Group led by Missy Tyillian following the Midweek Teaching.

Thursdays, beginning June 4: Men’s Study – The Book of Romans at DiLorenzo’s Deli led by Pastor Randy Emmorey at 6:00 PM.

Thursday, June 4 & 18: Finding Grace in Grief led by Jenn Lauer in Room 101 at 6:30 PM.
There will also be other one-time meetings offered during June for existing Serve Teams and Small Groups; please watch for communication from your leaders.
Our overall plan: come to groups if you're comfortable.
If you are feeling ill or have been ill, please stay home. If you come and desire to wear a mask, please do! If not, that is okay. Please be respectful of one another. Spread out in the room in small groups. No childcare will be provided during small group meetings on-site at this time. Also, please bring your own Bible or Bible app— if you don’t have one, we will have one for you!
In addition to meetings at the church, we will still offer the existing online groups via Zoom, Online Services at 10:00 AM and GraceKids Live at 11:15 AM Sunday mornings via YouTube & Facebook, and Grace Chapel Youth Live Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM via YouTube.
We will keep you posted of any further developments and changes to this schedule. As soon as we can have church together again, we will do just that! Until then, please join us for studies & groups back at Grace Chapel as you are comfortable and stay connected online.
We continue to pray for direction and clarity!
