Celebrating the True Spirit of Christmas: Welcome to Christmas Weekend Worship Services at Grace

by Sara Rupp

As we approach the most wonderful time of the year, we are thrilled to invite you to our much-anticipated annual event, the Welcome to Christmas Weekend Worship Services, taking place on December 2 and 3, 2023. This event, previously known as Lessons in Carols, has been a cherished tradition at Grace Chapel for all of our 26 years, serving as a beacon of joy, reflection, and celebration during the Christmas season.

At Grace Chapel, we believe in the power of tradition, and the Welcome to Christmas Weekend Worship Services are a testament to that belief. The service is thoughtfully designed to teach the true Christmas story, tracing the anticipation of Jesus's birth through a seamless blend of Christmas music, compelling drama, and timeless scripture. By immersing ourselves in the rich narrative of Christ's coming, we aim to shift the focus away from the commercial aspects of Christmas and reconnect with the profound meaning behind the season.

This special service serves as a unique opportunity for our church to extend a warm welcome to our community and beyond. In a contemporary and culturally relevant setting, guests are invited to experience the true spirit of Christmas, guided by the message of love, hope, and the miraculous birth of Jesus. Our hope is that, through this event, hearts will be touched, and souls will be drawn closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Welcome to Christmas Weekend Worship Services are a poignant reminder of the prophecies of Jesus throughout the ages. As we come together to celebrate, we reflect on the profound significance of Christ's birth, acknowledging the fulfillment of ancient promises and the eternal impact of this miraculous event on humanity.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated worship team has been working tirelessly for weeks, infusing a fresh and vibrant sound into familiar Christmas songs. Their commitment and passion shine through, creating an atmosphere of worship that invites every member of our congregation to actively participate in this joyful service. Your voices and presence add to the collective celebration of our Savior's birth.

So, as we come together on the first weekend of December, let us embrace this cherished tradition with open hearts, grateful for the opportunity to share the true meaning of Christmas with our community. May this event be a source of inspiration, joy, and spiritual renewal as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Mark your calendars for December 2nd and 3rd for our Welcome to Christmas Weekend Worship Services at the following times:

  • December 2, 2023: 5:30 pm
